Because we know the problems that can develop in a foundation (since we also fix bad basements as a major  part of our business) it puts us in a unique position to pour a foundation that will be trouble-free because we do it right. By using a 4’ by 9’ plywood form (wood is an insulator) we can pour a foundation with fewer cracks and stronger concrete strength due to the controlled cure time. Metal forms heat at the seams and can cause cracks to form that should NOT because of the shrinkage that occurs at the seams because of the heat. The metal forms when used in the cold can also adversely affect the strength because of the freezing where as the wood forms insulates and produce a stronger wall. We take great pride in producing a wall that is STRAIGHT and SQUARE and LEVEL. Once the forms are in place we snap a line inside the form to ensure a level foundation. Metal forms are dependent on the footing for its level, and no footing is level.

Finally, if you have living space in the basement we can install Platon Foundation Protector which is a protection that not only drains when needed but water cannot penetrate the material. This protection can be put on some or all of the foundation as needed. With this protection you will have a 20 yr. Transferable Warranty.
